The first stage of presentation of the Digama Academy was successfully concluded, a highly specialized training course proposed by the company Digama srl ​​with the aim of creating a real professional opportunity for all students aged between 18 and 21, integrating the Digama Academy with local schools and institutions.

The Digama company, leader in the design and production of complete systems and machines for the food industry and beyond, has always been looking for young talents to include within its constantly evolving working context. Digama with its Academy will make available its know-how gained over the years within its company, generating a training ecosystem that will unite the schools with the company in order to nurture the skills required by digital transformation.

The first presentation meeting of the Digama Academy to students was held on Friday 15 December 2023 at the I.I.S. Galilei – Di Palo di Salerno (Mechanics, Mechatronics and Energy) and was organized in collaboration with the school director Emiliano Barbuto and the professor Lucio Ciampi and managed by the integrated communication agency MTN Company.
The Sole Director of Digama Francesco Di Prisco and the Technical Director Simone Di Prisco attended the event, testifying to the 40-year history of the company, a global protagonist of Made in Italy in the food tech sector with its innovative machinery and the best technologies for the Food & Beverage industry.

The Digama Academy project, presented to the fifth year students of the I.I.S. Galilei – Di Palo, was created to involve and bring young generations closer to the world of technology, mechanics and robotics by offering a double possibility:

– Establish an active collaboration between students and the company, in a school-work alternation path that favors the inclusion of students in the Digama operational context, supporting and assisting young people in a training path aligned with the studies pursued.

– Undertake a highly professionalizing post-diploma training course with a selection of 8 deserving students to offer, through a series of in-company activities supported by expert tutors, the Mechatronics/carpentry license, a workshop on industry 4.0 in line with the latest national directives and the possibility of concrete work experience with the possibility of hiring in the company.

Finally, the meeting with the students of the I.I.S. Galilei – Di Palo concluded with the speech of the industrial automation expert Gianluigi D’Antuono, who explained the importance of robotics in the industrial field and how it is increasingly requested by companies all over the world.
